Kick up your classic meatloaf with a zesty cocktail sauce and a tangy mustard-brown sugar glaze for a flavorful twist!
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds extra lean ground beef
  • 2 cups crushed buttery round crackers or fresh bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar Crosse & Blackwell® Seafood Cocktail Sauce, divided
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, mix together beef, cracker crumbs, eggs, onion, 3/4 jar of cocktail sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined. Press the mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan and top with strips of bacon.
  • Bake for 50 minutes. Meanwhile, mix together 1/2 cup cocktail sauce, brown sugar, and dry mustard in a small bowl.
  • After 50 minutes, take the meatloaf out of the oven. Spread the sauce mixture on top and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Serve hot.
