Overnight French Toast: Easy prep, deliciously sweet, perfect for busy mornings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 10 ounces Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1.5 cups fresh blueberries
  • 3 cups Almond Breeze Vanilla almondmilk
  • 0.66666668653488 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • Powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, then generously coat an 11 x 7-inch baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter for a deliciously golden and flavorful result.
  • Slice each roll into 3 pieces to yield about 10 cups. Arrange on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for around 5 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Add a layer of blueberries to the dish, then neatly line up the roll slices. Top with the rest of the blueberries, making sure to tuck some between the slices for a beautiful presentation.
  • Whisk the remaining butter with Almond Breeze, sugar, extracts, and eggs until melted. Pour the mixture over the bread, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  • Take the French toast out of the refrigerator and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until firm to the touch. Serve warm with a light dusting of powdered sugar.
