Cream cheese and blueberry pie filling stuffed dessert wontons. Easy to assemble once you master the art of folding dough.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 48 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup blueberry pie filling
  • water as needed
  • cooking spray
  • 0.25 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Cut the 4-ounce block of cream cheese into 8 equal pieces and set aside.
  • Lay out 6 wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Divide one cream cheese piece into 6 equal pieces and put one piece in the center of each wrapper. Spoon 1 teaspoon of blueberry pie filling onto each cream cheese piece, being careful not to overfill.
  • Lightly moisten the edges of each wonton wrapper by running your finger across them. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, then bring the remaining two corners together to meet. Make sure to press out any excess air to avoid bursting. Seal the edges firmly by pressing them together. Cover the prepared wontons with a damp paper towel while you assemble the rest.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C). Lightly grease the inner basket with cooking spray and arrange wontons in a single layer without overcrowding. Give the wontons a light mist of cooking spray.
  • Air-fry the wontons for 5 minutes until crispy. Transfer to a cooling rack, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and allow them to cool while you cook the rest in batches. Enjoy best when served warm or at room temperature.
