Easy blueberry crumble with crunchy oat and brown sugar topping using frozen blueberries for a delightful dessert anytime.
Ingredients:
  • 6.5 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1.25 cups brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature and cut into chunks
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a baking dish.
  • Prepare the delicious filling by mixing together plump blueberries, rich brown sugar, and zesty lemon zest in a large bowl. Transfer the flavorful filling into the baking dish.
  • Prepare the topping by mixing brown sugar, flour, oats, butter, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg in a bowl. Use your fingers to rub the mixture until it forms a crumbly texture. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the blueberries.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the crumble is golden brown and bubbling. Serve warm.
