Use refrigerated buttermilk biscuits for quick and delicious blueberry-lemon treats perfect any time of day.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury®)
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions:
  • Assemble all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Take the biscuits out of the can and gently cut each one in half horizontally to get a total of 10 halves. Arrange 5 of the biscuit halves on the baking sheet and evenly distribute the blueberries on top.
  • Arrange the remaining biscuits over the blueberries.
  • Bake in the oven until beautifully golden, for about 18 to 22 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before enjoying.
  • Mix the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest in a small bowl.
  • Brush half of the glaze onto the tops of the biscuits and allow them to sit for about 5 minutes until the glaze sets.
  • Drizzle the remaining glaze and savor every bite!
