Blend together batter for creamy Brazilian cornmeal cake, a quick and easy family favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1.5 cups cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch cake pan.
  • In a blender, blend milk, sugar, cornmeal, eggs, butter, flour, and baking powder until perfectly smooth for about 5 minutes. Transfer the mixture to the cake pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Allow it to cool before slicing and serving.
