Savory sausage and sweet peppers with bowtie pasta in a rich beef broth.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 8 ounces farfalle pasta
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of generously salted water to a boil, then cook the pasta until al dente, for about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the pasta.
  • As the pasta boils, brown the sausage and peppers in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is cooked through. Drain the mixture and add it back to the pan. Pour in broth, season with pepper, and bring to a boil.
  • Combine the flavorful sausage mixture with the pasta before serving.
