Elevate your side dish with vibrant frozen peas!
Ingredients:
  • 1 small white onion, halved, thinly sliced
  • 1 large garlic clove, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 82.50 gm dry white wine
  • 200g red cabbage, shredded
  • 250.00 ml frozen peas
  • 50g butter, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil until shimmering. Add onion and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and fennel seeds and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in wine and simmer until liquid is reduced by half.
  • Lower the heat to medium and combine the cabbage and peas. Cook while gently tossing for 5 minutes, or until the peas are warmed through and the cabbage begins to wilt slightly. Introduce the butter and continue to toss until melted. Season with salt and pepper, then serve.
