Indulgent fruit compote infused with brandy, perfect for topping ice cream or any dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 0.5 cup mandarin oranges
  • 1 cup pitted prunes
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • water to cover
  • 1 (15 ounce) can sliced peaches, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks
  • 0.75 cup brandy
Instructions:
  • Combine raisins, mandarin oranges, prunes, sugar, and enough water to cover in a large saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until thickened, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Mix together the peaches, pineapple, and brandy, then chill in the refrigerator.
