Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and Bean Casserole

Unique twist on brats using pantry staples.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh bratwurst sausages
  • 1 (32 ounce) package sauerkraut
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 (15 ounce) can baked beans
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Sear bratwurst in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown.
  • Evenly layer sauerkraut in a 9x11 casserole dish, with a 2-inch border. Sprinkle with celery salt and brown sugar. Arrange sausages on top and pour beans around the perimeter of the sauerkraut. Cover with a lid or foil before baking.
  • Cook the bratwurst links in the preheated oven for around 45 minutes until fully cooked.
