Savory bread stuffing for a 10-15 lb turkey - simple and delicious with celery, onion, and seasonings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf sliced white bread
  • 0.75 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
  • Allow the bread slices to air dry until they achieve a perfect crispiness before cutting them into elegant cubes.
  • Heat butter in a Dutch oven until melted. Cook onion and celery until softened. Add poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well. Stir in bread cubes until coated. Add chicken broth; mix until combined.
  • To enhance the flavors, allow the stuffing to cool before filling the turkey, or bake in a dish coated with butter at 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes.
