Savory family stuffing with ground beef, sausage, celery, onion, butter, and bread cubes. Can be baked in Dutch oven or stuffed in turkey.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups butter
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound bulk pork breakfast sausage
  • 1 loaf loaf of white bread, cubed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a Dutch oven over medium-low heat, melt the butter then sauté the celery and onion for 8 to 10 minutes until the onion turns translucent.
  • In a separate skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat for about 10 minutes until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  • Add the cubed white bread, butter, celery, and onion to the Dutch oven, followed by the cooked meat, gently combine all ingredients.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven until perfectly golden brown, approximately 1 hour.
