Creamy sour cream custard meets crispy streusel topping in this show-stopping pie perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons chilled butter, cut into small pieces
  • 2 teaspoons five-spice powder
  • 4 tablespoons chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, 3/4 cup sugar, egg, 2 tablespoons flour, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Carefully fold in the blueberries. Transfer the filling to the unbaked pie crust.
  • Place in the perfectly heated oven for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  • As the filling bakes, make the streusel crunch topping: Mix 3 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, and five-spice powder in a bowl. Blend in cold butter until crumbly, then add chopped pecans. Sprinkle the topping over the pie after it bakes for 25 minutes.
  • Continue baking until the topping turns a beautiful golden brown, for approximately 15 more minutes.
