Hawaiian-inspired pineapple buns add tropical sweetness to any meal, easily made in a bread machine.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 3.5 cups bread flour
  • 0.5 cup dry potato flakes
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1.5 teaspoons active dry yeast
Instructions:
  • Add the pineapple juice, milk, egg, butter, coconut extract, bread flour, potato flakes, sugar, salt, ginger, and yeast to the bread machine following the specified order or the manufacturer's instructions. Start the Dough cycle and once finished (around 1 hour), take out the dough.
  • Shape the dough into rolls, then transfer them onto a baking sheet to proof for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
