Delicious and simple bread pudding with raisins, perfect for weekend brunch with loved ones.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups day-old bread cubes, crust removed
  • 1 cup raisins, or to taste
  • 4 cups milk
  • 8 eggs
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Spread a layer of dried bread cubes in an 11x12-inch pan and generously scatter raisins over the top.
  • In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Pour the mixture over the bread cubes and raisins.
  • Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours, in the preheated oven.
