Transform stale bread into a creamy bread pudding with raisins for a crowd-pleasing treat that's easy to make.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices day-old bread, torn into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In an 8-inch square baking pan, elegantly arrange the bread pieces. Gracefully drizzle the melted butter over the bread and artfully sprinkle the raisins on top.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla. Pour the mixture over the bread and gently press down with a fork to ensure all the bread is soaked in the liquid.
  • Bake until golden brown and the top springs back when lightly pressed, approximately 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
