Transform frozen dough into soft breadsticks by thawing, shaping into sticks, and topping with sesame seeds or Parmesan for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated dinner roll dough
  • 0.25 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Prepare a generously greased large baking sheet.
  • Cut each roll in half, then shape each half into a 4-inch long stick by rolling them between your hands. Arrange the sticks on the baking sheet. Lightly brush them with egg white, melted butter, or margarine. Sprinkle with garlic salt, followed by parmesan cheese or sesame seeds. Cover and let them rise until doubled in size, approximately 30 minutes.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, about 12 minutes. Be careful not to overbake to avoid burning the bottoms.
