Create a flavorful broccoli side dish topped with crispy garlic sourdough crumbs for added texture and taste.
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices fresh rye sourdough bread, torn
  • 500g broccoli, cut into florets
  • 40g butter, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 40.00 ml finely chopped fresh chives
  • 75g fetta, crumbled
Instructions:
  • Pulse sourdough in a food processor until it forms large coarse crumbs.
  • Blanch broccoli in a pot of boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes until vibrant green and slightly tender. Drain and keep covered to maintain warmth.
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 minute until aromatic. Toss in breadcrumbs and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and crispy, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in chives.
  • Move the broccoli to a serving plate, then generously sprinkle with a flavorful blend of feta cheese and breadcrumbs. Finally, season to perfection and serve immediately.
