Tasty broccoli slaw with crunchy ramen noodles and pantry staples – a versatile salad for all occasions.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages Oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup, seasoning packet reserved
  • 0.5 cup slivered almonds
  • 0.25 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 (16 ounce) package broccoli coleslaw mix
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onion
  • 0.5 cup salad oil
  • 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth. Crush ramen noodles into small pieces and mix with almonds and sesame seeds. Stir in the melted butter. Spread mixture onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown and crunchy, then let it cool completely.
  • Combine coleslaw mix and green onion in a spacious serving bowl.
  • Prepare the dressing by whisking together oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and reserved seasoning packets in a separate bowl until fully blended.
  • Gently fold the cooled noodle mixture into the dressing. Pour the flavorful dressing over the coleslaw-onion mixture and mix well for a fully coated salad.
