"Juicy filet mignon coated in a sweet and spicy brown sugar horseradish sauce, broiled to perfection in 20 minutes."
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon grated shallot
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 (4 ounce) filet mignon steaks
Instructions:
  • Position the oven rack 3 inches from the heat source and preheat the broiler. Lightly coat a broiler pan with cooking spray.
  • Mix together the brown sugar, horseradish, shallot, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Arrange the steaks on the prepared broiler pan and generously coat the top with half of the delicious brown sugar mixture.
  • Broil steaks in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Flip them, coat with leftover brown sugar mixture, and broil for an additional 5 to 9 minutes until cooked to your liking.
