Quick and easy cheesy broiled grouper for a simple, delicious supper.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds fresh grouper fillets
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™)
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches below the broiler and preheat the broiler. Lightly grease a baking pan.
  • Lay the grouper fillets on the baking pan and delicately brush them with zesty lemon juice. Mix Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, hot pepper sauce, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, ready to elevate the flavors.
  • Broil fillets until fish flakes easily, approximately 4 to 6 minutes. Once done, top the fillets with the cheese mixture straight from the oven.
  • Place the dish back under the broiler for 30 seconds, or until the topping is golden brown and bubbling.
