Broiled Spanish mackerel with zesty lemon, paprika, salt, and pepper seasoning.
Ingredients:
  • 6 (3 ounce) fillets Spanish mackerel fillets
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 12 slices lemon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the broiler and place the oven rack 6 inches from the heat source. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Drizzle olive oil on both sides of each mackerel fillet and lay them skin side down in the baking dish. Season the fillets with paprika, salt, and pepper, then garnish each with two lemon slices.
  • Broil the fillets until the fish flakes easily, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Serve promptly.
