Elevate Rice Chex™ cereal bars with rich browned butter, crunchy peanuts, sea salt, and dark chocolate drizzle. Gluten-free indulgence at its finest!
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 bag (16 oz) miniature marshmallows (8 cups)
  • 10 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 3/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • A pinch of sea salt flakes or coarse kosher salt
Instructions:
  • Grease a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a 6-quart Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat, stirring constantly, until butter turns a deep golden brown, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Stir in the marshmallows until fully melted and the mixture is smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and combine with cereal and peanuts until well mixed. Press the mixture evenly into a pan using a cooking spray-coated spatula. Allow to cool for 15 minutes.
  • Microwave chocolate chips and oil in a small bowl on High for 30-60 seconds until smooth. Drizzle over bars and sprinkle with salt. Refrigerate for about 45 minutes until chocolate is set. Cut into 6 rows by 3 rows to serve.
