Irish Coffee: A rich and indulgent way to enjoy St. Patrick's Day - or any occasion! Featuring coffee, Irish whiskey, brown sugar syrup, and decadent whipped cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 ounces freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 1 ounce Irish whiskey
Instructions:
  • To create the brown sugar syrup, combine brown sugar and water in a small saucepan. Boil over medium-high heat until the brown sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Create a luscious whipped cream: Whip 1/4 cup of cooled brown sugar syrup with the cream using a stand mixer or hand-held whisk until it reaches the ribbon stage, ensuring it forms peaks that hold briefly before dissolving.
  • Prepare your cocktail by combining the coffee, whiskey, and 1/2 ounce of brown sugar syrup in a glass of your choice. Adjust ingredient quantities to suit your preference. Finish with a generous topping of whipped cream before serving.
