Brown-sugared pineapple

Delicious summer dessert in a flash.
Ingredients:
  • 40g (2 tbsp) butter
  • 1 medium pineapple, peeled, cored, sliced,cut into 16 wedges
  • 40g (1/4 cup, lightly packed) brown sugar
  • 2 100g tubs fruit salad-flavoured frozen yoghurt, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the pineapple and brown sugar, toss to coat, and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the liquid turns into a caramel consistency and the pineapple is golden brown.
  • Top with creamy frozen yogurt and serve immediately for a delightful finishing touch.
