Gourmet brownie bites with a sprinkle of sea salt - a decadent upgrade from the usual.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.66666668653488 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • fleur de sel (sea salt flakes) to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while preparing a mini muffin tin with your choice of plain or seasonally colored paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, vigorously whisk together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until butter is fully incorporated but still visible as small bubbles in the batter. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gently mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  • Scoop batter into muffin cups using a small ice cream scoop. Sprinkle the tops of the brownies with a touch of sea salt flakes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Then transfer the baked goodies to wire racks to cool.
