Indulge in irresistible brownies made with Truvía™ Baking Blend for a sweet treat with less sugar but all the flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 4 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup Truvía™ Baking Blend
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Cascadian Farm™ frozen organic red raspberries (from 10-oz bag)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Truvía™ Baking Blend
  • Frozen (thawed) sugar-free whipped topping, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an 8- or 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In a 1-quart saucepan, gently melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring often. Mix in the oil until combined.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, 3/4 cup Truvía™ Baking Blend, and vanilla until smooth. Add the chocolate mixture, then gently fold in the flour until fully combined. Spread the batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the brownies spring back when lightly touched in the center and the edges start to pull away from the pan. The top may still look shiny. Allow them to cool a bit and then cut into 4 rows by 4 rows, or cool completely before slicing.
  • In a small saucepan, simmer frozen raspberries over gentle heat for about 10 minutes until a thick sauce develops, stirring occasionally to crush the berries. Take off the heat and strain out the seeds using a fine mesh strainer. Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of Truvía™ Baking Blend. Pour over each brownie just before serving and garnish with whipped topping.
