Grilled bruschetta pizza with fresh toppings and balsamic glaze on premade dough.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound prepared pizza dough
  • 2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 basil leaves, torn
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Pinch garlic powder
  • 5 (1-ounce) slices fresh mozzarella cheese, or as needed
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the gas grill on High with all burners for 10 to 15 minutes, then shape the pizza dough.
  • Combine the vibrant flavors of tomatoes, garlic, and basil in a small bowl, then elevate the taste with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Set aside to let the ingredients mingle and intensify in flavor.
  • Adjust half of the grill burners to Low heat to establish a combination of direct and indirect heat zones.
  • Gently transfer the dough onto the grill over direct heat, cover, and grill until the bottom is lightly cooked with char marks, for 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Flip the pizza dough using tongs, then transfer it to the indirect heat. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Top with mozzarella slices.
  • Grill until the cheese is oozy and bubbly, approximately 3 minutes. Gently lift the pizza off the grill.
  • Generously heap with flavorful tomato bruschetta, then elegantly drizzle with a balsamic glaze. Cut into wedges and present to enjoy.
