Elevate sauteed Brussels sprouts with a touch of sweetness from dried apricots and maple syrup.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 teaspoon butter
  • 3 Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved lengthwise, and thinly sliced
  • 2.5 teaspoons chopped dried apricots
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 0.75 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter, then add sprouts and apricots. Drizzle water and pour syrup over the mixture. Saute until sprouts are wilted, 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Add freshly squeezed lime juice to the sprouts mixture right before taking it off the heat.
