Spicy Buffalo-style chicken burgers.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup light sour cream
  • 0.25 cup reduced fat blue cheese crumbles
  • 0.25 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 pounds ground chicken
  • 0.25 cup hot pepper sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon celery salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 4 Kaiser rolls, split
  • 4 leaves iceberg lettuce
  • 0.5 cup diced celery
Instructions:
  • Preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate. Combine sour cream, blue cheese, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Combine ground chicken with 1/4 cup hot sauce, celery salt, poultry seasoning, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl until well mixed. Shape into four 3/4-inch-thick patties.
  • Grill the chicken burgers for 6 to 7 minutes on each side until well marked. Spray the top of the burgers with cooking spray before flipping. Brush 1 tablespoon of hot sauce on the cooked side and grill for an additional 5 minutes until no longer pink in the center. Check with an instant-read thermometer for a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • For burger assembly, layer a lettuce leaf on each bottom roll, add a burger patty, drizzle 2 tablespoons of blue cheese sauce, and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of celery. Cover with the top roll to complete the sandwich.
