Indulgent buttery pecan crust elevates creamy pecan cheesecake - a showstopper for Thanksgiving!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter, melted
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 475 degrees F (245 degrees C).
  • In a food processor, blend graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup pecans, butter, and 1/3 cup white sugar until evenly combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a bowl, use an electric mixer to blend together cream cheese and 1/2 cup white sugar until smooth. Gradually add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in sour cream and vanilla extract. Gently fold in 1 cup pecans. Pour this creamy mixture over the crust.
  • Preheat the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature, then bake for an additional 50 minutes. Turn off the oven, crack the door open, and allow the cake to sit inside for 1 hour.
