Rolo cheesecake brownies: creamy, caramelly filling swirled into fudgy brownie batter, topped with Rolo chocolates & pecans for an irresistible treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup caramel topping
  • 1 egg
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box for cakelike brownies
  • 20 Hershey’s Rolo® chocolates, unwrapped, quartered (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped toasted pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to blend cream cheese, sugar, and salt until smooth, remembering to scrape the bowl as needed. Mix in caramel sauce. Then, on low speed, blend in 1 egg until fully incorporated. Set mixture aside.
  • Prepare the brownie batter following the instructions for cake-like brownies. Spread the batter in the pan. Dollop generous spoonfuls of cheesecake filling evenly over the batter. Swirl the two mixtures together with a knife for a beautiful marbled effect.
  • Bake for 30 to 34 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with toppings right away. Allow to cool for 30 minutes, then refrigerate uncovered for 2 hours. Take out from the fridge 15 minutes before serving. Store covered loosely in the refrigerator.
