Easy, sweet cake batter cookie bars made with Betty Crocker™ mixes for a delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • 1 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors rainbow mix
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • Assorted candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the sugar cookie mix, cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract using an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, then switch to medium speed for about 1 minute until well combined. Fold in 3 tablespoons of candy sprinkles and spread the batter in the pan.
  • Bake until beautifully golden, about 32 to 34 minutes. Allow to cool thoroughly for about 1 1/2 hours.
  • In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter, powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until smooth. Gradually mix in more milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until the mixture is easy to spread. Spread over the cooled bars, top with assorted candy sprinkles, and cut into 24 pieces.
