Whip up a delicious apple-cinnamon bread using cake mix and apple butter for a moist and fragrant treat. A simple yet decadent delight with a hint of cinnamon in every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 3 eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup apple butter
  • 2 cups coarsely shredded Granny Smith apples (2 medium)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat a 9×5-inch loaf pan with non-stick baking spray containing flour.
  • Using an electric handheld mixer in a large bowl, combine cake mix, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and eggs until smooth. Mix in vanilla, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and apple butter. Beat on medium speed for 60 seconds. Gently fold in coarsely shredded apple using a rubber spatula. Transfer batter to the loaf pan.
  • Whisk together the Topping ingredients in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow it to cool completely, about 1 hour.
