Cake Mix Gooey Butter Cookies

Indulgent gooey butter cookies made quickly with Betty Crocker™ Yellow Cake Mix. Simply irresistible!
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and butter until smooth; stir in vanilla and egg. Add cake mix and blend until combined.
  • Roll 1 1/4-inch dough balls in powdered sugar, then place them 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Remove any excess powdered sugar.
  • Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are set, then let cool for 2 minutes. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack and let cool completely for about 20 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with more powdered sugar before storing covered at room temperature.
