Campfire Chicken Pot Pie: Creamy chicken and veggie mixture topped with flaky biscuit dough. Perfect campsite comfort food.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (29 ounce) cans mixed vegetables (with potatoes)
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 large cooked chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions:
  • Combine the vegetables, chicken soup, mushroom soup, and chicken cubes in a Dutch oven with a flat lid, stirring gently.
  • Warm the dish over glowing campfire embers for 15 minutes until heated, taking care not to let it reach a boil.
  • Place the biscuit dough pieces on top of the vegetable mixture in an even layer. Cover the Dutch oven with the lid and add hot coals on top.
  • Bake the biscuits until perfectly golden and cooked through, for 15 to 30 minutes.
