Campfire linguine with clams and mushrooms in a savory sauce made with pantry staples - perfect for outdoor cooking!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package linguine pasta
  • 1.5 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 (6.5 ounce) cans chopped clams with juice
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
Instructions:
  • 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add linguine. Cook until al dente, about 11 minutes. Drain pasta.
  • In a bowl, mix together minced onion, seafood seasoning, oregano, basil, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper for a flavorful blend.
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Sauté onion mixture until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in mushrooms to coat, then add clams with juice. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes to combine flavors.
  • Combine the delicious clam sauce and pasta in a large bowl, then sprinkle with dried parsley for a burst of flavor.
