Versatile and loved by non-salmon fans, this recipe transforms any fish, including salmon, into a dish even picky eaters enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
  • 3 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), then line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, caramelize the onions with vinegar and brown sugar, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes.
  • In a small skillet over medium heat, combine butter and garlic until melted. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet, brush with the garlic butter, then top with the onion mixture.
  • Place the fish in the preheated oven and bake until it flakes easily, usually around 20 to 25 minutes. Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your fillets.
