Candied Apple Tart

Try a quick and tasty apple tart made with Original Bisquick® mix, topped with a sweet jelly glaze. Ready in just 35 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2/3 cup whipping (heavy) cream
  • 4 cups thinly sliced apples (about 4 medium)
  • 1/4 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon firm margarine or butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • About 2 tablespoons cinnamon apple jelly
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°. Mix together 2 cups of Bisquick mix, whipping cream, and granulated sugar until a soft dough forms; shape it into a ball. Press the dough into a 12-inch pizza pan. Arrange the apples over the dough evenly.
  • Combine 1/4 cup Bisquick mix, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon using a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples and cover the edge of the dough with a 2-inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent over-browning.
  • Bake uncovered for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are a deep golden brown. Then, heat the jelly until melted and drizzle it over the tart.
