Candied apple bites coated in cinnamon sugar, caramel, and nuts. Perfect treat for fall harvest parties!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 apple - peeled, cored and cubed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 1 (14 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice in a small bowl. Toss apple pieces until fully coated with the mixture.
  • Combine the caramel candies and water in a double boiler until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally. Then, spread walnuts onto a tray.
  • Dip apple pieces in caramel using a fork or toothpick, then coat them with walnuts. Place on a waxed paper-lined cookie sheet and refrigerate until set, approximately 10 minutes.
