Caramel-Pineapple Sundaes

Delicious pineapple upside-down cake sundaes, no baking required!
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple in juice, very well drained
  • 1/2 cup caramel topping
  • 4 individual sponge cake cups
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream (2 cups)
Instructions:
  • Warm the pineapple and topping in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  • Arrange the sponge cake cups elegantly on individual serving plates.
  • Top each sponge cake cup with a generous scoop of ice cream, then drizzle about 1/4 cup of pineapple sauce over each sundae.
