Tender turnips caramelized with butter and a hint of sugar for a sweet finish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups diced peeled turnips
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon butter, or more as needed
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, simmer turnips, water, and bouillon until the liquid evaporates and the turnips are tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Melt butter with turnips and sugar until a caramelized coating forms, simmer gently for about 10 minutes, and serve hot.
