Carbonara cake

Luxurious and indulgent twist on classic carbonara with a crispy touch for the perfect comfort dish that will impress everyone.
Ingredients:
  • 300 g dried spaghetti
  • olive oil
  • 100 g hard cheese such as Parmesan, Cheddar, Gruyère
  • 3 large free-range eggs
  • 250 ml double cream
  • 250 g cooked smoked higher-welfare ham
  • 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and let cool in a colander. Grease a 20cm cake tin with oil and grate cheese over the base and sides. Mix cooled spaghetti in a bowl with eggs, cream, black pepper, ham, cheese, and rosemary. Transfer to the cake tin and bake for 35 minutes until golden and crisp. Let it rest for 3 minutes, then unmold onto a board. Serve with a lemon-dressed salad.
