Try this mouthwatering and simple carrot side dish recipe from my mother-in-law.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 pounds baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, submerge the carrots in water and boil until tender. Drain thoroughly and return the carrots to the pot.
  • Add a generous drizzle of maple syrup and a knob of butter to the pot with the carrots just before serving. Stir until the carrots are beautifully glazed.
