Cauliflower steaks roasted with olive oil and steak rub - a delicious meaty side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons steak rub, or to taste
  • chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Carefully separate the white florets from the green leaves and stems of the cauliflower. Keep the core intact to support the cauliflower steaks. Slice the cauliflower lengthwise into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • Coat both sides of cauliflower slices with a flavorful mix of olive oil and steak rub, then place them on a baking sheet.
  • Roast cauliflower steaks in preheated oven for 30 minutes until browned. Flip and roast for additional 15 minutes until cooked through. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
