Cereal Birds' Nests

Whip up these adorable bird's nest treats with marshmallows, cereal, and candy.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups large marshmallows plus 9 marshmallows
  • 3 3/4 cups Fiber One™ original bran cereal (from 16.2-oz box)
  • 2 tablespoons from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Creamy White Frosting
  • 5 banana stretchy and tangy taffy candies (from 6-oz bag)
  • 9 orange slice candies (wedges)
  • 18 miniature chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Microwave butter and 3 cups of marshmallows in a large microwavable bowl on High for about 2 minutes, stirring every minute until smooth. Mix in cereal until well coated.
  • Coat a 1/2 cup measuring cup with cooking spray. Portion out rounded 1/2 cupfuls of the cereal mixture onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheets, shaping them into nest shapes.
  • Create bird shapes by cutting feet, beaks, and wings out of the taffy candy. Attach them to the remaining 9 marshmallows using a dab of frosting. Cut the tops off the orange slice candies and secure them on top of each marshmallow as a crest using frosting. Decorate each marshmallow with 2 miniature chocolate chips and frosting for eyes. Place one marshmallow in each cereal nest.
