Crispy Peanut Butter Birds’ Nests

Nutty Rice Cereal Marshmallow Treats: Fun and delicious crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups broken thin pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup dry-roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup mini speckled malted milk eggs
Instructions:
  • Prepare muffin cups by spraying them with cooking spray. In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat marshmallows and butter on High for 1 minute. Stir well. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Mix in peanut butter until well combined. Gently fold in cereal, pretzels, and peanuts until thoroughly incorporated.
  • Evenly distribute the cereal mixture among the muffin cups, gently pressing the mixture on the bottom and sides of each cup to create a nest, using lightly buttered hands. Allow to set for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Discard the nests from muffin cups and fill each one with approximately 3 malted milk eggs.
