Decadent chocolate brownies topped with gooey marshmallows and a crispy peanut butter topping for an irresistible dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1.5 cups crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Cream together sugar and butter using an electric mixer until fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  • Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a small bowl. Then, blend this mixture into the egg mixture until smooth. Finally, evenly spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until set. Remove and top with marshmallows, then bake for an additional 3 minutes. Allow to cool.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, gently melt butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips until smooth. Add rice cereal and mix well. Spread the mixture over the marshmallow layer and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours until firm enough to slice.
