Tender pork stir-fry updated with apple salsa for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 600g pork leg steaks, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 82.50 ml char siu sauce
  • 36.40 gm peanut oil
  • 250.00 ml shredded Chinese cabbage (wombok)
  • Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
  • 1 medium granny smith apple, cored, cut into matchsticks
  • 62.50 ml fresh coriander leaves
Instructions:
  • Prepare a delightful apple salsa by mixing crisp apples, fresh coriander, and zesty lemon juice in a bowl. Gently toss until well combined.
  • In a bowl, combine pork with char siu sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Heat wok over high heat, add half of the oil and swirl to coat. Stir-fry half of the pork for 2 to 3 minutes until almost cooked. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining oil and pork.
  • Add the pork back to the wok along with the cabbage. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes until everything is heated through. Serve with rice and apple salsa for a delicious meal.
