Effortless pasta dish featuring creamy baked feta and tomatoes for a decadent sauce.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 medium onion, diced
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package feta cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package farfalle (bow-tie) pasta
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and give your casserole dish a quick mist with cooking spray.
  • In the prepared dish, combine cherry tomatoes, onion, and garlic. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Place the feta block in the center, turning to coat with olive oil and spices.
  • Cook until the tomatoes are tender and the feta is lightly golden, approximately 35 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, about 12 minutes, then drain.
  • After pulling the casserole dish out of the oven, gently mix in the cream, basil, and pasta until the feta and pasta are thoroughly coated in the sauce. Serve promptly.
